Have your four daughters knead the sugar cookie dough into the pizza pan, whip out the sweet cream frosting, smear the strawberry pie filling on the pizza, and sprinkle the sliced ripened strawberries on the top. Without a doubt you will be begging them to stop licking the spoons along the way! A scrumptious dessert pizza to enjoy, especially during the strawberries season! (Shhh, don't tell anybody this pregnant mama had an intense craving for strawberries and decided to make this on a cold January morning--go figure.)
Ingredients
-16 oz. package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
-8 oz. package cream cheese (softened)
-2 cups Cool Whip
-1 cup powdered sugar
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-21 oz. can strawberry pie filling
-2 cups strawberries, sliced
Instructions
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray
-Roll out cookie dough onto the pan and bake 10-12, or til barely golden brown. Let cool completely
-Mix cream cheese, Cool Whip, powdered sugar, vanilla extract using a mixer until completely mixed
-Smear the cream cheese mixture upon the cookie crust, then the strawberry pie filling, and finally sprinkle the sliced strawberries on the top of the pizza.
-Chill for an hour or so
-Slice into pizzalike slices and savor the sweet bites.
